Starrate SA was founded in 1992 as a partner company and distribution arm to the biomedia manufacturing group, Starrate Holdings Australia Ltd.

By the late 1990s Starrate SA had diversified into the pharmaceutical industry, specialising in the supply of primary and secondary packaging for both veterinary and human injectable medicines.

Today with a customer network spanning from South Africa to Morocco and Senegal to the Horn of Africa, Starrate SA is a truly pan-African supply and service company.
